Great Friday Procession

Our Great Friday Procession began at St. George with the first station.  The congregation, led by Msgr. Bonczewski, move out of the church, across the street, and stop various places to continue the Stations of the Cross.  Msgr. Bonczewski carried the Cross while processing but various members held the Cross at each stop as Msgr. lead the congregation in praying the station.

The procession moved down Stantion Street, crossed Hazle Street, and down Park Ave.  Our numbers grew as we move through the neighborhood.

The congregation stopped at various locations to continue the stations.  The picture below speaks for itself!

The 13th Station was completed in front of St. Anthony.  The 14th Station and the procession were completed inside St. Anthony.  Our service of Great Friday of the Crucifixion and Adoration of the Cross followed.
