This year, 2011, our parish celebrates its first century in the Wyoming Valley.  Our ancestors
settled here and assimilated within the community while observing their religious and cultural traditions. 
Today we continue to maintain these traditions that contribute greatly to our proud heritage.

Our Saint Anthony + Saint George Maronite Church Centennial Celebration is scheduled for
October 28-30, 2011.  We’re looking forward to a joyful homecoming for all Maronites,
family, parishioners, and friends.

EVENTS

Friday, October 28

6:00 pm – Ramshoo Service with Bishop Gregory Mansour presiding at Saint Anthony + Saint George Church. 
                  Reception afterwards in Saint Sharbel Hall (the church hall).

Saturday, October 29

11:00 am – Children’s presentation for His Excellency at Saint George Chapel followed by a brief reception.

5:30 pm – Grand Banquet at the Woodlands. 
                  Grand Banquet/Entertainment:  Adults - $70.00    Youth - $15.00 (12 and under)

 Sunday, October 30

 10:00 – Centennial Celebration Liturgy at Saint Anthony + Saint George Church.  Brunch to follow at the Woodlands.
               Sunday Brunch:  Adults - $30.00    Youth - $8.00 (12 and under)

 CENTENNIAL COMMEMORATIVE BOOK

 Participate in our Centennial Celebration in a lasting way!  Families, businesses, and churches are welcome
to provide tributes and ads to be printed in the commemorative book.  Whether it’s a picture and caption
for a loved one or perhaps a business ad, your submission will a lifelong tribute that reaches
the broad Maronite community.

ACCOMMODATIONS

A block of rooms is available at the Woodlands Inn & Resort for out of town attendees of the Centennial celebration.
The price for these rooms is $129.80 each.

Rooms are available for the evenings of October 28 and 29. 
Guests should contact the Woodlands to reserve individual rooms and coordinate payment.
