ABOUT CONFESSION:
Here is a useful question to help
you to examine your conscience. To consider: Have I co-operated in the
sins of others?
A Prayer: Most just and merciful God, you know all things. If I were to say I have not sinned, I would be deceiving no one but myself. Help me with your grace to examine myself in Your Presence.
SUNDAY, MAY 11, FEAST OF PENTECOST & MOTHER’S DAY
All the Liturgies will be celebrated for all our moms living and deceased.

On Thursday and Friday the Novena Prayers and Benediction will be offered at 4:00 PM & at 7:00 PM. On Saturday, we will celebrate the regular Liturgy at 4:00 PM followed by the Novena Prayers and Benediction. A reception will be served after the Novena. All prayer intentions are welcome.
MASS ON THURSDAY MAY 15: Mass will be at 8:00 AM, NOT at 4:00 PM because at 4:00 PM we have the 1st day of the Novena for the Triduum.
ABOUT THE MONDAY NOVENA TO ST. THERESA ON MONDAY OF MEMORIAL DAY: For just this one time only, there will only be the 4:00 PM Novena on this Monday, May 26. There will not be a 7:00 PM Novena only on the Monday of Memorial Day. All other Mondays are as usual with Novena at 4:00 & 7:00 PM.
SUNDAY, MAY 18, MOTHER DAUGHTER BANQUET: At the 10:00 AM Liturgy we will have our May Crowing ceremony by the Children. ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION
The annual Liturgy at St. Mary’s Cemetery for Memorial Day will be celebrated at 9:00 AM
A very worthy thanks is given to the Altar & Rosary Society for all the good they did for the children of the First Holy Communion Class and their families once again this year. We thank them for the beautiful reception which they provided and served to the children, their families and guests. This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to be together after the Divine Liturgy and have a visit and share congratulations with one another.
We also say thank you to the Altar & Rosary Society for providing the fresh flowers for the Altar for the special celebration last Sunday.
We say thank you again to Diane Brewster for her good work of making and placing the decorations for Church which made it truly beautiful and special for the celebration of the First Holy Communion Liturgy.

ANNUAL CARNATION SALE: Every year for Mother’s Day the Pro Life Office sponsors the sale of carnations for the benefit of needy Moms throughout our area. As you well know this office is a great blessing to pregnant Moms and their babies. Let’s help them in their good work as much as we can. Please be generous one more time.
MY FIRST WEEKEND AWAY: I will be away from the Parish from Thursday, May 22 to Tuesday, May 27. During the Memorial Day weekend we will have a visiting Priest who is coming for all the Divine Liturgies on Saturday evening, for both Sunday morning Liturgies and for the Memorial Day Liturgy on Monday. Father Finian, O.F.M. will come to us from the Franciscan Monastery in Sybertsville and will celebrate the Mass in the Latin Rite. What a blessing. During the long weekend there will be some short Masses to attend. O how good it is. A special note, I very much appreciate offering the Mass on Memorial Day. I will remember our beloved departed ones on this day.
